Dr. Sonja

Accredited Practising Dietitian, PhD

Dr Sonja is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in the benefits of healthy nutrition across the lifespan. She was awarded her PhD in 2008, which examined the importance of adequate milk intake for improved health outcomes across the lifespan and since then, has worked as a university lecturer in nutrition, before joining Australia’s Own to take a role in “Making Food Better”.

Sonja is also the proud mother of an energetic 9-year old, and understands infant feeding requirements and the difficulties families face in keeping good nutrition at the forefront. From this platform, Sonja is in a position to support parents with information on Australia’s Own Diamond pro+ range and other Australia’s Own products.

Shae

Accredited Practising Dietitian and Paediatric Dietitian

Shae graduated from a Master of Dietetics at Deakin University in Victoria. Additional to her tertiary training, she has completed the Royal Children’s Hospital Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics and is actively engaged with professional development in the field.  Shae has been involved with the Victoria Branch Executive of the Dietitians Association of Australia over the past six years and the Dietitians Association of Australia food allergy and food intolerance committee.

Shae has had five years’ experience on formula feeding, with a particular interest in food allergy and intolerance as well as fussy eating. She is always guided by evidenced-based practice with a strong influence on family-centred care.

Megan

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Megan achieved her Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney in 2014, and also has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology and physiology. She is a dietitian with a passion for nutrition and wellbeing of both parents and children.

Megan provides credible and clear nutrition communications for parents, as she understands the challenges parents face. She also understands the stress families feel when trying to feed their children and with this, develops healthy and easy recipes for busy families and ones that kids love.
