Mindfulness is about paying attention to what’s going on right now, moment by moment, rather than thinking about the past or worrying about the future. Mindfulness can improve emotional and physical wellbeing. Encouraging your child to be in the here and now can give them skills to deal with life’s little stressors, as they grow and develop.
