Dr. Sonja

Accredited Practising Dietitian, PhD

Sonja is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in the benefits of healthy nutrition across the lifespan. She was awarded her PhD in 2008, which examined the importance of adequate milk intake for improved health outcomes across the lifespan. She then worked as a lecturer in nutrition within Deakin University’s Faculty of Health, where she enjoyed teaching all levels of university students and occupying chair positions across a range of nutrition and exercise subjects.

Sonja subsequently joined Australia’s Own, to take up the position of General Manager – Nutrition. From this platform, Sonja is in a position to positively influence the nutrition profiles of Australia’s Own Diamond pro+ Premium Early Life Nutrition range, to reflect current scientific knowledge and to support parents with information on Australia’s Own Diamond pro+ range and other Australia’s Own products.


Accredited Practising Dietitian and Paediatric Dietitian

Shae graduated from a Master of Dietetics at Deakin University in 2013. Additional to her tertiary training, she completed the Royal Children’s Hospital Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics and is actively engaged with professional development in the field.  Shae is on the Dietitian’s Association of Australia Leadership Team for Paediatrics and Maternal Health and has been involved in several committees and working groups with the association over six years.

Shae is the Paediatric and General Dietitian at Freedom Foods, greatly involved in Australia’s Own Premium Early Life Nutrition Range and Australia’s Own products and has had five years’ experience on infant formula feeding.



Megan achieved her Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney in 2014, and also has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology and physiology. She is a dietitian with a passion for nutrition and wellbeing of both parents and children.

Megan provides credible and clear nutrition communications for parents, as she understands the challenges parents face. She also understands the stress families feel when trying to feed their children and with this, develops healthy and easy recipes for busy families and ones that kids love.
